Get ready for another Sullivan bad boy to fall in love in the third book of Bella Andre's bestselling contemporary romance series! Gabe Sullivan risks his life every day as a firefighter in San Francisco. But after learning a brutal lesson about professional boundaries, he knows better than to risk his heart to his fire victims ever again. Especially the brave mother and daughter he saved from a deadly apartment fire...and can't stop thinking about. Megan Harris knows she owes the heroic firefighter everything for running into a burning building to save her and her seven-year-old daughter. Everything except her heart. Because after losing her navy pilot husband five years ago, she has vowed to never suffer through loving - and losing - a man with a dangerous job again. Only, when Gabe and Megan meet again and uncontrollable flames of desire ignite between them, how can he possibly ignore her courage, determination, and beauty? And how can she deny not only his strong bond with her daughter.but the way his sweetly sensual kisses are challenging her to risk everything she's been guarding for so long? This winter, if one - or both - of them aren't careful, they just might end up falling in love.Okay, that's it. I am officially declaring Gabe Sullivan as the Sexiest Sullivan of Them All. Wow. I dug Chase, hardcore, and really liked Marcus, but Gabe is hands down my new favorite Sullivan sibling. But...but... there are still two brothers to go, and the all promise to bring the heat, so we'll see.
As you might be able to deduce from my enthusiastic intro, I love Can't Help Falling in Love. Gabe and Megan were a realistic, and romantically portrayed relationship. Gabe is an average guy, as average as anyone in his family can be, at least, a firefighter who thrives on helping those in danger. When he rescues Megan and her daughter from a deadly fire, the sparks fly instantly. But Gabe has made it a rule to not get involved with rescuees, and Megan, whose husband died in a plane crash, has taken a stance against falling in love with another risk taker. With the help of her precocious daughter and a Sullivan sister, Gabe and Megan are pushed together and soon find that the heart always trump the fear.
The Sullivan Series is quickly becoming a favorite go-to series when I need a fast shot of swoony romance. The stories keep getting better and I find myself opening and devouring each book quicker than the last. Can't Help Falling in Love was a perfect way to spend my afternoon.

After another long kiss good night, and another sweet I love you, he was halfway down the hall when she called out.
"You never told me how the story ends, Gabe." She held her breath, waiting for his response.
His expression held all the love and desire she knew he felt for her.
"It doesn't." ~88%

Get ready for another Sullivan to fall in love in Bella Andre's bestselling contemporary romance series! Sophie Sullivan, a librarian in San Francisco, was five years old when she fell head over heels in love with Jake McCann. Twenty years later, she's convinced the notorious bad boy still sees her as the "nice" Sullivan twin. That is, when he bothers to look at her at all. But when they both get caught up in the magic of the first Sullivan wedding, she knows it's long past time to do whatever it takes to make him see her for who she truly is...the woman who will love him forever. Jake has always been a magnet for women, especially since his Irish pubs made him extremely wealthy. But the only woman he really wants is the one he can never have. Not only is Sophie his best friend's off-limits younger sister...he can't risk letting her get close enough to discover his deeply hidden secret. Only, when Sophie appears on his doorstep as Jake's every fantasy come to life-smart, beautiful, and shockingly sexy-he doesn't have a prayer of taking his eyes, or his hands, off her. And he can't stop craving more of her sweet smiles and sinful kisses. Because even though Jake knows loving Sophie isn't the right thing to do...how can he possibly resist?Boy, am I fickle. In my last review, I declared Can't Help Falling in Love as my favorite of the Sullivan Series. And I meant it. But...but...I think I'm going to have to rescind that I re-declare I Only Have Eyes for You as my new favorite Sullivan book!
I thought Gabe Sullivan was the Swooniest Sullivan, and really, I still think so. However, if there's one thing (make that two) that's better than a Sullivan man, it's a Sullivan WOMAN. We get to know one of the Sullivan sisters, Lori, in From This Moment On. But in I Only Have Eyes for You is Sophie Sullivan's story. Sophie is the "nice" twin, one of eight siblings who's always felt lost in the crowd. She's content to let her siblings take the spotlight; there is only one set of eyes she wants on her, Jake McCann's.
Jake is the "honorary" Sullivan, has been her older brother's best friend for twenty years. Since they were children, Jake has been in love with Sophie. He knows, though, that his best friend and his brothers would sooner kill him than allow Jake, or any other man, touch their sister. Pair that with an inferiority complex and you have a load of barriers between Jake and Sophie.
I loved Jake and Sophie. These two have spent decades loving each other, and never knowing the love is shared. I love the circumstances that bring them together. I love the magic between them. I swear, this series just keeps getting better and better. And every time I pick up the next book, I do it with a huge smile on my face.

"There's a saying in Ireland that seems pretty appropriate for today:
If you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love.
If you must steal, steal away from bad company.
And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away."
Sophie couldn't pull her gaze from Jake's chiseled face as he raised the glass of specially brewed McCann beer that, she was surprised to suddenly realize, had just been delivered to all the guests' place settings during the other toasts. That he'd planned such a beautiful toast for her brother and his new wife simply stunned her with its poignancy, as did his final words on lifted glass: "To one of those moments." ~22%
"Sophie," he said, her name a ragged plea from his lips.
A plea to stop...and a plea to let him finally see all of her.
A plea to leave...and a plea for her to promise she'd never, ever give up on him, no matter what happened. ~ 27%
Get the eBooks via Amazon US, Amazon UK, Barnes & Noble, the iBookStore, or the Kobo Store. Audiobooks are also available for the first five in the series (with more coming soon). Plus, keep an eye out for paperback editions coming from Harlequin Romance starting Summer 2013.
