The Rundown

Okay! Lots to cover here. I got a lot of exciting review books this week, starting with Kiss Me Like This from Bella Andre. Huge BA fan here, so I'm excited to read this over the weekend. Another book that has me happy is Losing Control from Jen Frederick. This book is being released in serial form, which I enjoy, but am also excited to read it in one swoop. Rusty Nailed! Simon and Caroline are back! Isn't the cover for Long, Hot Texas Summer pretty? For the record, that phrase takes me back to the time I thought it would be okay to wear black jeans in South Texas in July. It was 110 degrees. Desired is the third book in the Club Sin series. I recommend this series for readers who like the BDSM on the light side. It's so good! White Collared is a serial that's coming out over the summer. I got all four installments from the publicist. It looks good, yeah? I like Jennifer Faye's books, and look forward to The Return of the Rebel.

As for purchases, I think I did good again this week. I think I had True in ebook, but since I have a print of Sweet (which I loved! review to come), I wanted a print copy. It's so good. The rest of the books were all $0.99. Hootie's review (and the cover!) convinced me to buy Playing for Love at Deep Haven. Fans of James's FBI/US Attorney series say A Lot Like Love is one of the best. I'm excited to read Wild Child, but it's set in Arkansas and being from AR, that makes me nervous. Who here's read it?

I got quite a few freebies this time. I'm really excited about Talk This Way because I adore the Plum Orchard series (it's about a phone sex business!). Also dying to read The Passion of Patrick MacNeill. I love Virginia Kantra's books!
