Welcome to Fetish Week.

Unleash your kinky side with three tales of BDSM romance in an exclusive Mediterranean sex resort from three hot erotica writers, including New York Times bestselling author, Sara Fawkes.

TAKE ME by Sara Fawkes
The minute sexy hotel manager Alexander Stavros spots shy, sweet Kate Swansea at the Mancusi resort, he can tell she’s begging for release. This Dom is the perfect man to help her… if she’s willing to let go of her inhibitions and enjoy the ride.

TEACH ME by Cathryn Fox
There’s nothing Luca Mancusi loves more than lingerie. So much so, he’s made it his business. Fashion design intern Josie Pelletier is supposed to be negotiating a deal with him, but as talks heat up, he can’t wait to teach her the ways of business…and BDSM.

TAME ME by Lauren Hawkeye

CEO Marco Kennedy can’t help being drawn to Ariel Monroe. When he follows the pop star abroad to the Mancusi resort, she agrees to a deal: He’ll win her as a sub through pleasure…or he’ll disappear from her life. Ariel’s game…just as long as she doesn’t lose her heart too.

Oh my, do I ever love a good erotic anthology. Especially one as neatly tied together as Fling. I am always looking for really good and steamy stories, and in Fling, I got three of them.

The three stories revolve around "Fetish Week" at a Mediterranean resort. All three stories offer a handsome Dom and an unknowing submissive. All three are stories of the Dom introducing his potentially sub to the lifestyle. All three were HOT.

These stories were the first of Fawkes' s and Fox's that I've read, and they were great. Both had the the immediate lure and nice pace needed for a short story. I will definitely be reading more of their books in the future. I am a big fan of Lauren Hawkeye, and was all too happy to take Fling for review when I saw her name as one of the authors.

Not only was Fling wickedly hot, but the emotional bonds between the characters were also very strong. Many short stories seemed rushed in that aspect, but these three authors make it work. BDSM stories don't work for everyone, and that's fine. I don't love them all either. But I do enjoy those that explore the psychological aspects of the lifestyle, and that is where Fling excels.

Take Me:

"You think I'm strong?" Kate piped up. "But I thought you liked the submissive sorts?"
Alexander snorted. "Just because a woman gives freely of herself to another in the bedroom doesn't mean she is a doormat for the rest of the world."   ~eARC, 13%

Teach Me

As she thought about that more, and how she was playing in Luca's territory, a place where
pleasures were paramount, she suddenly had an epiphany--what he was asking of her had nothing to do with business and everything to do with gratification. Her heart beat madly as she wondered how far she'd go with him...and how far she'd let him take her.  ~eARC, 46%

Tame Me by Lauren Hawkeye

Ariel sucked in a breath before nodding, and it wasn't until after she'd agreed that she understood.
There was no need to feel embarrassed because she was absolved of all responsibility.
She was not the one acting wanton, chained and open. She was presented that way because of him.
Relaxation unlike anything she'd ever experienced settled over her, the sensation not that different than if she'd chugged a liter of wine.
She had so many things to control her daily life. Being freed of the need to do anything but feel was...freeing.   ~eARC, 75%

  2. This sounds super hot. I don't think I have ever read BDSM, but I'm not opposed to it. An anthology might be a good place to start.

  3. I'm personally not too keen on BDSM, so I think I'll skip this one, but I think it's great that Fling explores the psychological aspect of it. And I'm glad you enjoyed it! The cover is surprisingly beautiful for erotica title. I really like it! :) Thanks for sharing, Andrea.

  7. Fawkes, Fox and Hawkeye... their pseudonyms are hilarious!

I'm having a BDSM weekend myself. I skipped getting this when I saw it in EW, at that time I was tired of erotica. Now I kinda regret it though.

    Happy weekend!

  8. My only experience with BDSM was when I read Submissive Beauty by Eliza Gayle and that fully focused on the emotional aspect of this element rather than the sex, which like you I enjoyed. I don't usually read books like this, but I'll admit it sounds very interesting. Plus, I love that cover! Its gorgeous! Great review, Andrea! :D
