Blindness

I finally read Blindness by Ginger Scott this week, and I really enjoyed it. I had an idea of what it was about, based on that cover, but it was so different and so great. Blindness is free during the holiday weekend, so I encourage you to pick up a copy and give it a try!

The Rundown

First of all...did you see that I only took two review books this week? I'm so freaking proud of myself. But the two I did take, I'm very excited about. Beautiful Oblivion is the first Maddox Brothers book, and I'm excited to dig in. And Truly. I absolutely adore Ruthie Knox's writing, and am super excited to read this first installment in a new series, out in August.

And in other good news, I only bought three $0.99 books again this week. I've heard good things about Must Love Otters, The Wardham Series bundle includes a novella and two novels, and I'm not even going to tell you what Hootie said to convince me to buy A Gift for Jarrod.

There were some excellent freebies this week! Laura Florand's Turning Up the Heat is free on iBooks, and maybe Kobo, and $0.99 on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She's my favorite! Home Matters is another rec from Hootie. I enjoy Marie Force's books and couldn't resist snagging a free copy of True North. I've heard good things about Rie Warren, so decided to pick up In His Sights.

  6. I just got True North by Marie Force for free after seeing it here! What's even better is that the audio version was on $1.99 because I got the book first. That is a steal of a deal and audiobooks are so important to me. My commute is and hour each way but isn't near as bad when I have a book I'm listening to. I just downloaded Blindness as well. Thanks Andrea! :)
