The Rundown
For review books, I really loved A Matchless Romance, and jumped right on her next book, Up to Me. Bathing and the Single Girl looks like a fun read, and it doesn't hurt that the author was a character on the original 90210 (cue teen fangirl scream!). I couldn't resist Midnight, politics and love? Yes! Something to Talk about is the second in the Plum Orchard series, cant wait! Splendor seems like it might be super dramatic and romantic.
As you can see, I got a lot of unsolicited books in the mail this week. *sigh* The only ones I'm definitely planning to read are Shelter Me and Tease. Possibly Great. But, Motherless Child actually looks really good too.
I purchased three books this week, all only $0.99. I love Ruthie Knox's books, so had to have Ride With Me. I've also heard good things about At Any Price. And Tempting the Bodyguard. I've been waiting a while for this one. I was offered a review copy, but at that price would just rather read it when I want.
Gifted books: I love the Teaching Willow series, and can't wait to see how it ends. I got From the Moment We Met free through an Amazon program. I really like that series. Lauren Hawkeye gifts me a lot of books, so I was excited to get the Sweet Life box set from her.
There were lots of freebies this week! They all look very good, and I will admit to only getting Hitting on the Hooker because of that awful title. (thanks, Hootie!) And the Nicky Charles books? I read those before I started blogging and loved them. So when I saw the entire series free on Amazon, I got it for my kindle. My sister-in-law read these with me, and we were talking about a re-read!

ReplyDeleteSome great looking books this week!!
I enjoyed Salvage, Taking and Rebel and hope you do too. Happy reading and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to Rebel, didn't love Tease, and I really need to buy the Dakota Cassidy book - I saw it on Netgalley. I love her and I haven't read anything by her in a long time.
