I like being able to get through the story in less time with novellas and anthologies. I love forbidden romances because I want to see how the couple gets past the forces preventing them from being together.
ReplyDeleteI love novellas b/c I can read a complete story in less time :) and it's a great "taste" of new authors. I love forbidden romance b/c of the danger and intrigue! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like anthologies because I can read several different stories by different authors in one book. Also like novellas they don't take long to read. I enjoy reading about forbidden love because it always makes the story interesting and exciting. Thanks for having the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Turn Up the Heat. Foster story was delightful, the middle one was sweet and the third was my first Dahl read..and holy hotness.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway Andrea! I enjoy anthologies and Novellas for a fast-paced and quick read. Especially when they are an addition to a series :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good pal!
ReplyDeletei enjoy them because it often times will lead me to a new author hat i never would've discovered on my own.
ReplyDeleteforbidden love-is like the one that got away, leads to a mystery as to why, til you find out
I like novellas that bridge space & time between full-length novels. It keeps you "up to date" with the characters while waiting for the next major work.
ReplyDeleteForbidden love is appealing simply because it is forbidden. It is something we will likely never encounter ourselves, so it is fun to read about it because that is likely the closest we'll ever come to experiencing it (which is good if there are consequences!).
If a novella is done well, I like getting a meaty story that's a quick read. I like that anthologies usually give more insight into characters I already know.
ReplyDeleteI like the suspense of forbidden love.
Thanks for sharing the giveaways, Andrea! I love, love the cover for Turn up the Heat! ;)
I like novellas if they're done correctly, basically a smaller version of a novel but I get just as much of out it due to it being a quickie. Ive got quite a few that I absolutely loved and are my favorites :) Same with anthologies those I like cause I get bursts of interesting uniqueness due to it having multiple authors in that one book it can be a thrill lol
ReplyDeleteSuspense for me is what works on the forbidden love just knowing that everything could/would go wrong at ANY given time, gives me chills.
Novellas are good for a quick read. They are also a good way to be introduced to a new author or series. As for forbidden romance, I love the secrecy and mystery.
ReplyDeleteI love how short novellas are so if you don't like it, you can get through it quickly. Plus, they move along faster than regular novels do.
ReplyDeleteI love forbidden romance because it adds so much tension to it!
I have found that I enjoy novellas more recently than I ever have, especially the holiday oriented ones. I've read a variety over the last few months that have really had substance to them, even though they are short, and with some many books to read, it is a plus that they don't take too much time.
