When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

Everything for Us is a tough story to review without spoilers. Unless you've read the blurb; that thing is spoiler city if you haven't read book two. So I guess I will just assume that those reading the review have read the blurb and go from there.

Everything for Us is a departure from this rest of the series, since it centers on Marissa and Nash. That excited me. It seems that everyone hates Marissa, but I never have. I know she was a witch in Down to You, but I never thought that was a good excuse for Nash/Cash and Olivia to do the business behind her back. But that's just me. I liked Marissa because she was complicated, she wasn't perfect and didn't pretend to be.

And of course, I was ready for real-Nash. After that whopper of a bombshell in Up to Me, it was ON. I liked that Nash was about zero BS, and was severely pissed. He was grouchy and you just knew he was barely keeping himself leashed. I knew that Nash and Marissa would make an interesting pair. And they did. And let me just say that having Nash and Cash together, with situations in which Cash is pretending to be Nash and Nash is pretending to be Cash, definitely worked my brain. I almost resorted to making a chart to keeping the details straight. Now I know why some parents of twins give their kids names like Harry and Tom.

Okay, so I do have an issue with Everything for Us and it is the same I had in Down to You. I've never been cool with the lying from Cash and Nash, in regards to using their twin status to trick Marissa and Olivia in intimate situations. It honestly didn't sit well with me at all, and I didn't like how they just got away with it. If there had been more accountability, I may have felt better about this, and it may be something that only bothers me, I don't know.

Everything for Us was definitely fast-paced, and I liked that. There's a lot going on with the situation with Nash and Cash's dad and the people who framed him. I loved that this story line did not get pushed aside to solely focus on the romance, because this is a huge deal and really the trigger for everything Nash and Cash have gone through. Everything for Us is also a romantic story, which Leighton excels at. She infuses a lot of passion into her writing and her characters and this is my favorite aspect to her writing. In this book, though what I enjoyed the most was Nash's and Marissa's personal struggles. Nash's story was one of coming to grips with the life that had been stolen from him, and the future he faces. Marissa faced her fight to break away from her old life and create a new, better one. They both experienced a highly satisfying amount of personal growth.

Everything for Us ends the Bad Boys series on a very romantic and satisfying note; a good conclusion to the series.

Favorite Quote:

My headache and every bad thing I've been thinking of melt away the instant his eyes meet mine. Like waves crashing against the shore, a thousand feelings collide, sending a spray of emotion through me. At once, I experience a dozen states and stages of my life in the blink of an eye. I'm the scared kid I was when I left seven years ago. I'm the confident, determined teenager I was before my mother was killed. I'm the angry boy growing up and butting heads with his father. I'm the child basking in the comfort of his parent. And I'm the man who's been in exile, away from what's left of his family, returned.   ~eARC, 16%

  1. I haven't read any of the books from this series and I really want to because I have hard only great things about this author. Thanks for stopping me from reading the blurb so I didn't spoil anything for my self. I'm glad it was a good conclusion to the series. :)

  2. I loved this book too, although I still love Cash just a bit more. I never really liked Marissa, but my opinion of her really changed in this one. I came to like her a lot and I like that she made a decision for her and her alone. Great review!

  3. I dislike the name of the twin guys in this book which is exactly why I never picked up the first book in the first place. It seemed confusing and knowing how easily confused I can get, I refused to read a book that would frustrate me. I've heard great things about it though.
I like how you were among the few who like Marissa. She sounds like a complex character.
These two grown up men still take each others places? O_O
    That's a bit weird.
Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the book despite everything!
    Great review, Andrea!

  4. I didn't read your review because I really, really want and need to read this series. I did read the quote though. I have the first book on my nook (which I don't know if it even works anymore lol) I think, and the second on my kindle. I will get to them eventually. I need some downtime for me reading.

  5. I am one of the people who didn't like Marissa until the end of UTM. She really grew on me in this book though. I loved getting to know Nash better too. Great review!

  6. This is why I get a kick out of following blogs that reads this genre. Though I rarely read contemporary novels lately, I use your reviews as a compass if I need to switch it up a bit.

So this is only a trilogy? At least she ended it on a high note. I'm sure she's cooking up something new for you guys.

  9. I'm glad that it concludes the series nicely enough. Always a plus!! I wouldn't like the guys getting away with tricking the girls without any "retribution" or whatever either, but otherwise, sounds good!

  10. Twins that switch places and trick girls into thinking it's the other one? goodness, I'm pretty sure I'd be very uncomfortable with that. I know so many of my friends enjoy this series, but I somehow don't think it's for me.
Thanks for the lovely review, Andrea

  12. I love it when a series ends well--I'm so glad you were happy with the conclusion, Andrea. And look at that cover--he's nuzzling her hair! I'm kind of partial to that. ;)

  15. This wasn't my favorite of the series but I thought it was a good ending to the series. I totally get your issue with the lying.

  16. 'I liked that Nash was about zero BS, and was severely pissed.' --I loved that so much about him, too! One of my favorite things about this novel. Also, lol! I think it was often quite confusing who was who and you're right, it really works on one's brain. At the end of the day, I'm glad we both enjoyed this finale to a very smexy trilogy:)

  17. Great review Andrea! I'm reading all three of these very soon! I can't wait! I'm ok with having read and being spoiled though. I'm not very good at waiting to find out what happens, LOL. But yeah, the lying would seem like a pretty big deal. I can't wait to read these though!

  19. Okay, so I read the words 'abduction' and 'dangerous' and wanted this. I didn't know this was book 3 in the series. Mostly because it didn't have a '______ to You' in the title. I don't think I would be okay with the switcharoo either....

  20. I'll be reading this book soon and I loved the 1st two. Michelle is a fantastic writer. I can see what you mean about the switch though and yeah, it bothered me at first, too. Still, I'm looking forward to reading this one.

  21. You and I had similar issues, Andrea. I liked this series and I'm happy with the way things turned out but I had issues with the deceptions as well. I didn't like how it was sort of swept under the rug in the first book. I also didn't like how it seemed that there were interchangeable partners in the series. The first book was my favorite, but I did like the ending. Lovely review! :)

  22. Great review. I loved Nash, but Cash will always be my favorite. I did really love Marissa in this book. I hope Gavin gets a story - I can't remember if I really heard that or if it is ust wishful thinking.
