WAITING ON WEDNESDAY

Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's WoW selection is...

ImpostorSeries: Slide #2
Genre: Paranormal YA
Publisher: Balzer + Bray
Publication Date: 3/26/13

Impostor by Jill Hathaway has descriptive copy which is not yet available from the Publisher.

Why I'm Waiting ~  So, yeah... There's no synopsis, but I really enjoyed Slide. That's reason enough for me to have Imposter on my To Read list.

What are you waiting on this week?

  1. I loved Slide too! Would be really neat to be able to see things from another persons eyes. Curious to see what happens with Rollins!

  12. OMG, Team Rollins! He was so awesome! I can't wait to read this book either.

FYI-Jill Hathaway emailed me a synopsis back in March when I interviewed her. Wonder why it isn't up on Goodreads? Wonder if it's changing...

    ***
“What if a killer took control of you?

Vee Bell’s gift (or curse) of “sliding”—slipping into the mind of another person and experiencing life, briefly, through his or her eyes—has been somewhat under control since she unwillingly witnessed the horrific deaths of her classmates six months ago.

But just as things are getting back to normal, Vee has a very bizarre experience: she loses consciousness and finds herself in a deserted area, at the edge of a cliff, with the broken body of the boy who took advantage of her on the rocks below.

As Vee finds herself in stranger and stranger situations with no memory of getting there, she begins to suspect that someone she knows has the ability to slide—and that this “slider” is using Vee to exact revenge on his or her enemies.”

  15. I wasn't a huge fan of Slide. It was too predictable to me, so I'm not sure if I will read this one. But I hope you enjoy it when it comes out.
