Meeting Jett was like a drug. Dangerous. Addictive. And better forbidden. In his game, there’s a high price to be paid. But how much is too much?

Brooke Stewart, a realtor in New York, was never in love until she met the green-eyed, sexy-as-sin, six-foot-two sex god, Jett. The man to whom she surrendered. The man who hurt her once only to conquer her heart again.

Sexy, handsome, and arrogant Jett Mayfield knows he has found his match. Brooke is like no other woman he’s ever met and he has every intention of keeping her in his bed.

Their future seems full of promise...until the past is catching up with them and dark secrets threaten to destroy their lives. Soon they realize that to love means to lose, and some choices are harder than others.

When everything comes crashing down, can mistakes be amended…or will he lose her forever?

A woman who surrendered to love.

A man who would do anything to protect her.

Two lives that are about to be tested…and the last secrets laid bare.

First Impression .... Another sexy cover. Reed really has an eye for delicious covers!

The Story... Brooke and Jett are back together and happier than ever. Their future is headed towards bliss, but the mystery of the estate Brooke has inherited, and The Club, is still hanging over their heads. The hits just keep on comin'.

Based on the covers, you might think this is strictly a romance series. There is definitely romance, a lot of it, but I would classify it as romantic suspense. Treasure Your Love was full of action and intensity. You have everything from murder to abduction, a sex slavery ring, embezzlement, a return from the dead, a Fast & Furious type of gang, and more. The action started quickly, and held the breakneck pace throughout.

Seriously, every time I thought Jett and Brooke were set for smooth sailing, something new would pop up. It was like Speed, when Jack finally got the bus stopped without exploding then the crazy ex-cop kidnapped Annie and put her on a runaway subway. Then fought Jack on top of the subway train! I'm not complaining, though, because this honestly held my attention more than a lot of romantic suspense books have in the past.

The Characters ... Brooke and Jett were both very likeable. Brooke could be a bit trying, with her inferiority complex. But then again, I'm sure it is intimidating to be hooked up with someone that hot and rich. But when the dude tells you he loves you and will spend his whole life making you happy...accept it. But really, I get it, and I liked Brooke.

Jett has remained a likeable guy throughout the series, even when his intentions didn't always seem pure. Unlike most bookish billionaire bad boys, Jeff's charming arrogance never turned to the annoying side. A welcome relief.

The Writing .... I've consistently enjoyed the writing throughout the series, though at times the prose was a bit heavy on the dramatic in the second book. That seemed toned down in Treasure Your Love, and I liked it.

The Heat ... The heat between Jett and Brooke has always been a highlight, and it still is in this installment. Due to the heavy action, the two didn't seem to hit the sheets as often, but that was fine because it fit the story. I like that Reed didn't force it.

In the End ... Treasure Your Love was an exciting, romantic, and fulfilling conclusion to the series. All my questions were answered, the characters were left in a good place. There is a note in the back stating that though the series is concluded, Reed will release a story that revisits the characters in the future, which should be fun.

The Surrender Your Love series has been a fun ride. I'm happy I gave it a chance.

Favorite Quote:

"Like you, I need to stay by your side because you mean everything to me. If you fall, I fall," I whispered, repeating his words. "And if we fall, I'd rather do it together. No exceptions, no regrets, and that's a whole lot better than taking a chance and having to live without you."

  4. So is this whole series about just one couple? I guess if you add in the romantic suspense but I hate it when the book ends and the couple is in doubt. I need my HEAs. Hmmm...I do love these covers though. Great review, pal.

  10. Romantic suspense can work for me! Actually, if I'm reading a romance, that more mystery or suspense stuff makes it work really well. I'm definitely more interested now.
