JANUARY HARLEQUIN GIVEAWAY

It is time for the January Harlequin Giveaway, and I have two sweet treats up for grabs. Good luck!
Knock OutSeries: Worth the Fight #1
Genre: Contemporary/Sports Romance
Publisher: Carina Press
Publication Date: 12/2/13
Logan Rettino never imagined she'd fall so far. Dropped by her ex on national TV, she's gone from prima ballerina to ring card girl, reduced to revving up the crowds before MMA bouts. However distasteful she finds her new job, it pays well…and she needs the money if she's ever going to rebuild her life. Promised a huge bonus if she can convince a brooding, gifted welterweight to keep fighting, she'll do whatever it takes to earn his trust.

Keane O'Shea is unbeatable in the octagon. A former marine, he fights with a ruthlessness no gym jockey can match. He knows his brutal strength is too much for the delicate ex-ballerina, regardless of how fascinating he finds Logan's tight dancer's body. But one private performance and he's drawn to her in a way he can't—or won't—resist.

As Logan discovers the heartbreaking truth that lies beneath this handsome warrior's rage, she'll need to forfeit everything she thought mattered for the one thing that matters the most: saving Keane from himself.

Wild Ones (The Lane, #1)Series: The Lane #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Carina Press
Publication Date: 1/13/13

Bri Martin likes her skirts too short, her heels too high, and trouble close at hand. So when big, brooding underground boxer Luke Turner comes into the bar where she works and starts a fight before she brings his first drink, she can't help being intrigued. Luke is everything she never wanted and everything she can't resist.

Soon, Luke is showing up everywhere Bri is, and she can't break free of his hold on her, nor does she want to. When her best friend turns on her, it's Luke who is there. When Luke's opponent comes after her to send Luke a message, it's he who comes to her rescue.

Before Bri knows it, she's caught in the midst of a rivalry between her boyfriend and her boss, both of whom are not content to settle their scores inside the ring. She swore she'd never live this life, so like the one she once ran from. But only by confronting her past can she decide where her future lies…and whether Luke can be a part of it.

  1. I do like books with fighters- they always have an edge, tend to be dominating/ alpha protector types but can have that hidden softer side that only comes out for the right person

  2. There is something sexy about a fighter, maybe the excitement or the sexy alpha male. Knock out looks good

  3. I do like them. The guys are rough and alpha and usually make for a great story.

  4. I like books with fighters because the men are usually alpha and determined to win, whether it is a fight or for a lady/man.

  19. I can't exactly say why, usually the description of the fighter is hot. Like he can protect me, and won't let any harm be done to me. Nothing sexier, then a sexy fighter. I love the cover, and most especially the dog tags hanging around his neck!
