Just one night

Marcus Sullivan has always been the responsible older brother, stepping in to take care of his seven siblings when their father died. But when the perfectly ordered future he's planned turns out to be a lie, Marcus needs one reckless night to shake free from it all.

Known throughout the world by only one name, Nico, pop songstress Nicola Harding is seen as the ultimate sex kitten. But it's all a lie. After a terrible betrayal she refuses to let anyone else close enough to find out who she really is, or to hurt her again. Especially the gorgeous stranger at the bar.

One night is all Nicola and Marcus agree to share with each other. But instead, a deeper connection than either of them could have anticipated begins.

I read From This Moment On in January. Here's what I had to say...

Having finished The Look of Love, diving straight into From This Moment On, I was expecting book two to have a very similar story. And yes, you have a gorgeous, honorable Sullivan brother falling hard and fast for a great woman, but this book felt completely different. And I like that.

In From This Moment On, the focus is on the oldest and most responsible sibling, Marcus. He is a man who is ruled by true commitment in all that he does, but that has left him a lonely man. Seeking a one night stand, Marcus steps out of his comfort zone and into a wild nightclub. There he meets Nicola, and the two are instantly attracted to one another. Nicola has a secret, though. She's a world famous pop star. And she's unhappy with the way she is perceived in the media. So now we have two people who are at crossroads, both lonely, and against all odds they find what they need in each other.

I truly enjoyed From This Moment On. The relationship, while quick moving, felt true and tackled real life problems. I love the Sullivans. I can't wait to start book three.

She'd had his body from the first, but he'd been so sure about his heart--his soul--were safe. That no woman could possibly touch him.  So then, why did being with her like this touch him as nothing had before?
And when, he had to helplessly wonder, had hot sex with his beautiful pop star turned into making love, out on a beach beneath a sun that felt like it was shining just for them?

    10. I read one of The Sullivan's. It was centered on the sister and out of order, but I really enjoyed it. It was light, sweet and a little spicy, with relatively little drama. I'd love to read more of this series. It's nice that you can read one without having read the others first. Great review, Andrea. :)
