{REVIEW} NEVER TOO FAR (TOO FAR #2) by ABBI GLINES

Never Too Far (Too Far, #2)Series: Too Far #2
Genre:Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Self-published
Publication Date: 2/26/13
Format: eARC
Source: Received from author for review

He had held a secret that destroyed her world.

Everything she had known was no longer true.

Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.

What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?

You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.
Let me just get this out of the way, I loved Fallen Too Far to a ridiculous degree. You're not surprised, right?? It's no secret that I am a huge fan and supporter of Abbi Glines. So it shouldn't be a surprise that I loved this book.

But, to tell the truth, I am a little surprised by how much I love Never Too Far. I really liked Fallen Too Far. The story was pretty gritty and the family dynamic was so twisted, though, that I was left a bit frazzled. I just didn't see some of the twists coming, which is a huge credit to Glines. I really needed to sit on the story awhile to truly appreciate it.

Never Too Far was the polar opposite to Fallen Too Far. Here's why: Fallen Too Far was an introduction to these characters and Glines completely broke them down. Never Too Far was a story that built the characters back up and put the pieces of them and their lives back together. A completion to their story. It was about the truth, trust, and love. Love that can stand up to any test.

The characters in Never Too Far were exactly who I needed them to be. I know that sounds egotistical, but it's true. Life has kicked the crap out of Blair, but she determined to take control. I think I tend to forget how young she was, only nineteen, and I loved her resilience, her grace in the hardest of circumstances. And Rush...how I loved Rush Finlay. This poor boy is broken, a complete mess since Blair left him. I loved his patience with Blair, his devotion to her, and the fact that he will do whatever it takes to make things right with her. That's not to say these two don't have obstacles, and surprises along the way. But the way these two faced the challenges, and surpassed my hopeful expectations made me a happy, happy reader.

At this point, I think everyone knows Abbi Glines can write a steamy book. I will go on the record and say this is her Hottest. Book. Yet. Good lord, I thought my Kindle was going to burst into flames. Along with my face. I seriously had to set my Kindle down, cover my face, and giggle. And honestly, it's not that anything scandalous or outrageous happened. I just love the raw honesty and passion. And let's just say the fact that Rush has a tongue ring doesn't hurt.  I'm blushing and giggling again just thinking about Rush and Blair.

Fallen Too Far was everything I wanted and hoped for. It was sweet, passionate, made me do the Ugly Cry, and is my favorite Abbi Glines book yet.

Favorite Quote:

He stood up and his steady gaze held mine. "No man has ever loved a woman as much as I love you. Nothing will ever come before you. I don't know what else I have to do to prove to you that I won't let you down again. I won't hurt you. You don't have to be alone anymore. I need you."

Such a glowing review and such a coincidence!
I read Fallen Too Far yesterday , in only 2 HOURS! It was so fast-paced, I loved Blaire and Rush, and all the supporting characters. I have never finished a book so fast. Anyway, I cannot wait to read Never Too Far. And since Fallen Too Far was my first Glines book, now, I know that she writes such steamy books! It made me giggle and go wide-eyed a lot, too!
