Teaser Tuesday

aser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, just do as following:

·Grab your current read
·Open to a random page
·Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
·Be careful not to include any spoilers so as not to ruin the book for others.

Make sure to share the title and the author so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR piles.
This week's Teaser is from
Just ListenLast year, Annabel was "the girl who has everything"—at least that's the part she played in the television commercial for Kopf's Department Store. This year, she's the girl who has nothing: no best friend because mean-but-exciting Sophie dropped her, no peace at home since her older sister became anorexic, and no one to sit with at lunch. Until she meets Owen Armstrong. Tall, dark, and music-obsessed, Owen is a reformed bad boy with a commitment to truth-telling. With Owen's help, maybe Annabel can face what happened
the night she and Sophie stopped being friends. ~From GoodReads

 My Teaser ~

"Instead, from where I was crouched on the ground, the green of the grass filling my vision, the first thing I made out were the hands, a flat silver ring on the middle finger of each. One was clutching my notes. The other was reaching out for me." (pg. 88)

My Teaser Tuesday from Incarnate that I see you started! YAY! I need more people to discuss this book with. I have already told my friend that doesn't read much all about it and she is so intrigued with the concept she wants to pick it up.
