Review
I didn't take many review books...wooo! Y'all know I love Sawyer Bennett's Last Call series; Sugar on the Edge has a Brit novelist hero. Swooon! I love the cover for Not Yet and it sounds good. I became interested in Have Mercy after reading a post by the author at Wonkomance. I loved what she had to say about women and sexuality. Looking forward to this one!
Purchases
I'm reading The Chocolate Touch now and it's SO INTENSE. Laura Florand continues to amaze me. I was thinking of purchasing Landline bc I'm a huge sucker for marriage-in-crisis novels. Amazon randomly sent me a 70% pre-order code for this, which was the push I needed. I ended up getting a hardcover for $6! The Lion's Lady doesn't look like my typical read these days, but it was only $1.99 and I remembered the details from a DBSA podcast, which made it sound terrific. Not sure why I bought the Spice Box set, other than I got 16 books for $0.99.
Gift
Thank you to the lovely Nereyda at Mostly YA Book Obsessed for gifting me a copy of Five Ways to Fall. I keep hearing it's the best in the series! Before I began blogging, I was obsessed with audiobooks. I've recently started listening to them again, and am even planning to regularly review audio.
