WARNING, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK from Matt Connover, Litigation God: Please do not attempt to read my story in public, as my sexual proclivities have been known to cause squirming in your seat, squeezing of your legs together and unintentional moaning, sometimes with spontaneous bursts of laughter at random moments. If you are offended by the fact that my oral skills are just as accomplished in the bedroom as they are the courtroom, then this book is not for you. There may be moments while reading my story that you get so turned on… so hot and bothered… that your squirming and moaning could turn maniacal in nature and neither I, nor the author, are responsible for the weird looks you may get. Notwithstanding the aforementioned warnings, if you assume the risk and read my tale in public, then I recommend you carry a spare set of panties with you. You will need them and you have been warned.”

My name is Matt Connover. I am a Litigation God.
Other lawyers quake before me.
Women crawl on their knees just to spend the night in my bed and when I’m finished with them, I walk away without a backward glance.

I am well satisfied with my life and there isn’t a damn thing I’d change about it.

That is, until McKayla Dawson came along.

She was meant to be for one night only.
But she got under my skin, and now I want her back underneath my body.

It’s torture working with her in my law firm… day in and day out. But I have to think maybe the Fates have intervened to throw us together because she is unlike anyone I’ve ever known, and thus I need to pay careful attention to these Legal Affairs.

****
Confessions of a Litigation God is a stand alone, full length novel. It follows the affair of Matt Connover and McKayla Dawson as told in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance, Volumes 1-6. This book is told strictly from Matt's point of view and has many additional scenes not included in the serial volumes.
Matt Connover aggravated the ever-living shit out of me in the Legal Affairs series. He bounced back-and-forth between burning hot for Mac, then cold as ice. He claimed he'd never want a relationship, but wouldn't fully let her go. I spent a lot of the series wanting to punch him in the junk, and the rest of the time steamed up over just how well he worked said junk. So. When Sawyer Bennett announced she was writing a complete novel from Matt's point-of-view, did I say "Gimme now"? Hell yes.

I almost never, ever read alternate point-of-view stories. In fact, Confessions of a Litigation God is
only the third I can remember reading. While most books like this don't appeal to me because of redundancy, Bennett is an author whose work I truly enjoy. And really, despite his tendency to be an ass, I really adore Matt-Fcking-Connover. Maybe it's because he's an ass....

Confessions of a Litigation God is not redundant for those who've read Legal Affairs. I mean sure, we get all the highlights and big moments, but getting Matt's take on the situation and his reasonings made it feel fresh. Plus, he's funny AF. Honestly, the  man is about 90% sex and there is a lot of sex in the story. But, as the story moves along, parallel to Legal Affairs, you see Matt's heart start to give in to Mac. He fights it, and fights it hard. He's still infuriating, but knowing his reasons and just how badly his wife had destroyed his trust in any woman did make his actions a lot more tolerable.

Mac is still my favorite. It was great to see just how deeply he felt for her from the beginning. How much his heart wanted her, and his head fought that. I will also point out that Confessions does move further into Mac and Matt's lives and I loved seeing how things turn out for them in the future.

Confessions of a Litigation God was a very fun, very sexy story. If you loved the Legal Affairs series, I'm betting you will enjoy this. If you haven't read Legal Affairs and you're looking for a story about a bad boy being tamed by love, give Confessions a try.

I listen to her carefully though, as I don't want to hurt her. She moans sweetly and once she says, "God yes."
  God? No.
  Matt Fucking Connover? Yes.

  "Mac?"
  "Yeah?"
"I'm never letting you go, you know that, right?"
"I'm counting on it," she says softly. "And you'll never regret it. I promise."

Guest Post
When you get the chance to do something with an author you adore, it's a great feeling. When that something fun involves Matt Connover, you get a mischievous feeling. So here's Matt talking about one of his favorite subjects/past times.....

**Warning: If you don't want to read about a hot characters talking about sex, you might want to go ahead and skip this.**

Matt Connover’s Top Five Favorite Sex Acts

#5 – Blow Job While Driving – Yes, I know it’s dangerous but who gives a fuck? Mac’s face in my lap, taking me straight down the back of her throat while I motor down the highway doing seventy-five in a sixty. The threat of getting pulled over by a cop, or some randy truck driver looking down at us. What a rush!

#4 – Sex At A Party – Locking myself in the bathroom with Mac while a line of people wait outside to get in. Hiking her skirt up, moving her panties to the side and then quietly but forcefully screwing her from behind with my hand fisted in her hair. I’ll tug on it, forcing her head back so I can take her mouth from the side. Wboth try to be quietwhile we gaze in the mirror at each other, so no one knows what we’re doing. I’m getting hard just thinking about it.

#3 – Morning Sex – Bringing Mac out of that deep sleep with just my hand between her legs, my lips at her neck. She makes these little sounds, like a kitten mewling for its next meal. Her legs unconsciously move apart, her body begging for me. I slip right in and fuck her slowly as the sun filters in through the window. Fucking bliss.

#2 – At A Restaurant – I only tried this with Mac once but she loved the hell out of it. Sitting in a dark, cozy booth, side by side. Red linen draped over the edges of the table to hide what I’m doing to her. My fingers expertly sliding up her legs, pressing against her damp panties. I get her off without even removing that barrier between my fingers and her hot flesh, and just before the waiter comes over to set our food down in front of us. Hot, right?

#1 – Putting My Oral Skills To The Test  My oral skillsare legendary. Just as Mac. Crawling up her body, grasping the edge of her lace panties with my teeth so I can drag them slowly down her legs. The challenge in her eyes… oh yes, daring me to get her off with just the magic of my tongue. It’s a challenge I gladly accept over and over again. It takes nothing more than a slight push with my hands to get her legs to fall open, and there she is… exposed, vulnerable, just waiting for my mouth. Begging for it. And I give it to her, over and over again. There’s a reason this tops out as my favorite sex act, and it’s because of the way Mac screams my name when I finish her off.

  3. The Legal Series is a serial right? I don't really like those, but this sounds like so much fun, Andrea. Is this one an actual full length novel? I love how you had a love hate relationship with the guy. And he does sound like an overly cocky guy, but hey, who doesn't love those in books?

OMG! Haha! I'm so glad I read that guest post in the privacy of my room. I'm giggling uncontrollably right now! :D He sure does seem talented!

  7. I don't want to see him bang randoms. That was my entire problem with him in LA, that he made Mac think he was still in the game and rubbed it in. ugh. No thanks, glad you enjoyed it but he was too much for me. That hurts my heart because I adore Sawyer!
