ReplyDeleteI will be hanging out with the family for the 4th of July. My daughter isn't big on loud noises, so we probably will just BBQ at home instead of going to the fireworks.

ReplyDeleteEvery 4th of July, we get together at our place for a family BBQ - something very low key, but enjoyable as a family. We do it earlier, during the day, then we pack the cooler with soda and juices, and a picnic basket full of munchies (usually store-bought!) and then proceed to the local Independence Day parade, and fireworks (with live music) at the park. At least that's what our tradition has been for the past 4 years, and I love it!!! :)

My hubs always has to work all day and put in overtime, so my kidlets and I always spend the day in pjs watching movies and reading our books until he comes home. And then we watch the fireworks display on tv, lol!
