So, of course I'd like fiction geared towards the age I am in my head!

But, seriously, I think YA fiction is more fun and adventurous than adult fiction, and that's probably why I like it so much.Cathy Keatonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18356112948372149785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3769483260772738867.post-12031772296435170582012-03-19T15:53:45.238-07:002012-03-19T15:53:45.238-07:00Mindy, check in at www.lucyswing.com for all the s...Mindy, check in at www.lucyswing.com for all the stops on the tour. I love adult as well so I guess it all depends how original it is. I don't like reading the same YA book over and over like there seems to be at the moment. But you can find great gems for sure! This books sounds really awesome! I was addicted to Dean Koontz books before I started reading YA. (I still love Dean Koontz, he's just freaking amazing!) I was a HUGE Goosebum...OMG your post is exactly me! I was a HUGE Goosebumps fan. I think those are the first books I ever truly enjoyed. I was actually telling another blogger about this the other day. I always felt forced to read school books and never enjoyed them. Then one day in 2nd grade our teacher brought in a Goosebump book to share with the class as a fun extra story she read to us after lunch. By the end of the book everyone in class had a pile of Goosebump books they read everyday. I had huge sets of them from Costco. But as I got older I skipped YA and read adult books. I read what my older brother and mom suggested. I also didn't have much time for reading and like you got into teenager type stuff. It wasn't again till I graduated college and had some free time that my friend said I MUST read Twilight. So I went to the book store and bought it. Then of course I bought them all and read them a bunch of times. After that I started reading more. I never read YA books when I was younger. I was in that stage of life and didn't want to read about it. I had wanted something different. My mom let me read anything I wanted so I only read adult books. But now that I am an adult I miss those high school days so now I do enjoy reading YA.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10702366874779315384noreply@blogger.com
