"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's WoW is...
When Psyche receives a prophecy gone horribly wrong, she learns that even the most beautiful girl in Greece can have a hideous future. Her fate? Fall in love with the one creature even the gods fear.
As she feels herself slipping closer into the arms of the prophecy, Psyche must choose between the terrifyingly tender touch she feels almost powerless to resist and the one constant she's come to expect out of life: you cannot escape what is destined.
Destined is a fresh and heartachingly romantic retelling of the Cupid & Psyche myth from debut novelist, Jessie Harrell. (From GoodReads)
I'm a sucker for a fabulous Greek myth story. I've never read one featuring Psyche, and this sounds terrific. Good thing it comes out tomorrow, right?
Paperback, 260 pages
Expected publication: November 17th 2011 by Mae Day Publishing
You can find Destined at GoodReads.

This sounds awesome! Have you read Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis? It's another re-telling of the Cupid & Psyche myth that I read for a special topics course. It was breath-taking and so well-written. Great choice!
